Yar, I'm a pirate. Eurydice 26 July 2005 16:26 (PDT)

I just thought of something that the wiki OM could help with, buying any types of housing we don't have screenshots for and inviting in whatever spastic screenshotter is available to grab images for the wiki before the housing is returned.

I'm just about ready to upload the 72 tiny square images that are needed to do floorplans. It's kinda scary. --Guppymomma 13:21, 30 August 2005 (PDT)

Sure thing! Just list here which ones you need, and I'll create them. Then you can have whomever wants to do the screenshotting nag me to gain entrance. I'll be on a lot tonight. --Eurydice 16:51, 30 August 2005 (PDT)

Wheeeee. I found a short sword portrait! Our collection will be complete! --Guppymomma 09:02, 2 September 2005 (PDT)

One other thingee, maybe it would be good to sticky & lock http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?p=409977#409977 or for you to make a similar sticky? --Guppymomma 11:12, 4 September 2005 (PDT)

Done! --Eurydice 21:19, 6 September 2005 (PDT)

I've done a little work on your list! I just took a screenshot of me editing my house news and uploaded it. A little big, but it shows all the supported tags. --Benzene265 20:04, 6 November 2005 (PST)

Thanks, mate! --Eurydice 20:36, 6 November 2005 (PST)

Content Reminders

This is just me jotting down some gaps in the Wiki content that I see. People can feel free to fill in the gaps, or just peruse.

  • upgrade: need "how to" instructions on shoppes, and instructions on how to do the equivalent of upgrading stalls and housing.
  • getting an awful lot of questions about how to change the font and color of News postings in houses and shoppes
I'd be glad to help with this, but I wouldn't know where to put it.--Zyborg22 15:25, 8 November 2005 (PST)
  • Is there a listing of all uninhabited islands that have commodities markets?
It's a pretty small list. On Cobalt/Viridian, it's Napi Peak. On Sage, there are none known. On Ice, I'm not sure, but I think it's none. On Midnight, it's Frond Island, Waterberry, and Vernal Equinox. (I'm pretty sure that's complete.) --Barrister 19:25, 16 October 2005 (PDT)
I see two things that you could do here. One is to simply link to the topic in the "Events!" article or someplace similar. The other is to make an article with the topic's contents and link to it in the "Events!" article or another such article.--Zyborg22 15:25, 8 November 2005 (PST)
  • Do we have instructions on how to invite someone to a crew? I see that we have instructions on expelling.
  • Would be handy to have a page that showed how to chart a course, even though the instructions are blatantly obvious in-game.
  • Add this info to both the crew & flag articles or something like that.
<shudder> --Barrister 19:07, 11 December 2005 (PST)
I'll have to check with the Powers that Be about where they want that to show up, and where they don't want it. --Eurydice 19:28, 11 December 2005 (PST)
  • Awk. It was brought to my attention today that searching on "battle nav" gives not even a redirect, and "battle navigation" doesn't contain a list of rankings. Also, to find the list of rankings for sea battle for crews, you have to look up brigands.
Sorted the redirect, I'll add the rankings now --Angelbeaver 17:03, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
Ooh, you rock! I was going to do it myself after dinner tonight, so thank you! --Eurydice 17:06, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
I know, don't I? :P But seriously, check it first, it could suck. --Angelbeaver 17:27, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
Looks great to me. Many thanks, mate! --Eurydice 17:33, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
There is actually a page on crew rank; it just happens to be extremely obscure. I remember coming upon this problem months ago and resolving to fix it, but I forgot all about it until now. I've replaced the listing with a simple link to that page for both the sea battle and brigand pages. I hope that pleases her wiki-OMness. :) --Emufarmers 23:41, 7 July 2006 (PDT)
  • Judging from the questions people have after reading it, the flag page could use some updating and clarification. --Eurydice 19:25, 16 April 2007 (PDT)

Blockade screenies

I've got several. Most of which are rather large. Only a few are uploaded to my own server because they're so large. --Thunderbird 19:37, 19 December 2005 (PST)

I have some videos that I was supposed to upload from the Admiral Nelson Jorvik XI blockade. I'll try to get those up in the near future. --Barrister 21:42, 19 December 2005 (PST)

A small question...

Ok..fair enough but... I see other editors make edits before 15 minutes since the last change. And I flicked through my contribs and the last time I edited before 15 min, no further edits were made to the article. --Sagacious (talk) 11:08, 3 June 2006 (PDT)

Blackpool and Key West trinkets

Could you check on the official names for these trinkets? I think I may have made one of them up when I added it to the wiki. Thanks.--Fiddler 15:12, 3 August 2006 (PDT)

A question..

Hey Eury! Can I cahnge the Eurydice doll trinket picture into a transparent one so It doesnt look white when you put it as a trinket on your pirate page?.. Thanks. --Collected 21 October 2006 (PDT)

Taken care of. --Guppymomma 19:19, 21 October 2006 (PDT)

Standard Procedure

Not to be a nag, and it's not altogether important (since, as you're clearly aware, I'm exiting stage left), but if something's "standard procedure", you might want to make a note of it somewhere rather than surprising people with it. :) --Ponytailguy 21:28, 21 June 2007 (PDT)

I'm very sorry that it surprised you. However, leaving admin privs activated on accounts that have officially declared their permanent inactivity is something that's generally not done in any setting these days, even in such a benign setting as a wiki. It is to be expected that a departing admin of any kind will be deactivated. --Eurydice 22:12, 21 June 2007 (PDT)

Rfa Deletion

Ooops, sorry about that. Just saw that the template was inserted in the wrong place and wasn't linking to anything and the edits were a couple hours old. I figured the user had put it there, not known what to do next, and given up. Sorry to jump the gun though, my built in OCD hates seeing stuff like that. I get that little eye twitch thing. Will remember in the future. :) --Muffynz 11:02, 28 June 2007 (PDT)
