The Remnant is a crew on the Emerald Ocean. Its captain is Kikuneechan.

History

Beginnings

The Remnant was first founded on November 15, 2006 by Fivestars. Fivestars had recently been expelled over a hot debate between his former captain and had formed a crew. For the first 3 days, the crew had 1 person in it, the captain. But fairly soon, new members trickled in. One of the first S.O. Fivestars had was by the name of Piratesaures, who soon after for reasons unknown, deleted his account. Fivestars was also joined by his first mate, Fattyhaha, who came from his old crew to support him.

Growth

Soon after, The Remnant began to grow, within no time at all it had over 20 members, included its future second mate, Bigavm. After the crew reached noted fame and Mutina, Fivestars's former captain, had made Fivestars a apology, he decided to join his old crew's flag, the Colony of Pissheads. It's name was changed though to Colony of Meanie Heads because its name was thought offending by some and was later renamed Under the Influence. After joining The Remnant flourished and grew to 40 members.

The Remnant now fluctuates in terms of numbers and activity.

Mergers

In the history of The Remnant, there have been three mergers. - The Raging Musketeers's captain left, and so merged into The Remnant. - The Pie Glory, merged into The Remnant after Fivestars convinced its current captain. - mexico (spelled that way no uppercase) merged into The Remnant after a poker table was traded as a sign of faith.

There has been another merge with Guilty as Charged. The Remnant's name was changed before voted to be changed back.

In 2010, after Fivestars officially retired from the game, he gave the crew to Kikuneechan. Earth Wind and Fire, whose captain was Piratemanguy, merged back with the Remnant. Dragens Nest, whose captain was Gwilo, merged with The Remnant.

Kikuneechan welcomes back the both of them.

Parting Ways

The Remnant made a crew decision to leave Critical Mass despite being one of the oldest crews there. From there, they went to League of Light, Eternal Glory, and Tides of Glory.

They are currently with Improbable Cause.

Statements

The crew name comes from a important split between two factions on Sage in 2006 and we were the remaining crew members from it.

We are a drama-free laid back bunch who enjoy good company while making lots of PoE!
