Matches/games?

"For your team, add your current cumulative score of wins versus losses (for example, ATeamScore=4-2 would indicate that team A has so far won 4 matches, and lost 2)." Does it mean matches here, or games? The edits so far have assumed games... --Ruddigore 14:55, 5 August 2006 (PDT)

No one assumed anything, It's games, and has always been games for OCL's --Bhorror 15:35, 6 August 2006 (PDT)

In which case the rubric needs to be corrected, is my point. --Ruddigore 17:08, 6 August 2006 (PDT)

My apologies - it should be GAMES - the terrors of cut-and-pasting from a previous league, I'm afraid! --Apollo 00:22, 7 August 2006 (PDT)

Too late for a do-over?

I just found out that my team's games on Saturday were done as 4 colors/shapes instead of 5. Should we do those matches over again? (I was not online, and just learned this during our matches today.) -- Tonyanator

Did they try to tell you you had to do that? It clearly states 5 in the rules, and I would imagine that it is too late for a do over (not sure) but are they still trying to do 4 on their games? (IE on sunday) --Bhorror 15:36, 6 August 2006 (PDT)

If you accepted the settings and joined the table for the game, then the games stand. It would be worth contacting that team and ensuring that they know they set the table settings incorrectly. The settings should always be checked before you sit down, and if any team seems to be repeatedly mis-setting the games, let me know and I'll speak with them. Thanks. --Apollo 00:24, 7 August 2006 (PDT)

Although I was not playing on Saturday, Tonyanator's team was playing mine (French Kiss). Apologies for the mistake in table settings. I'll inform my team captain and teammates to ensure that no future mistake is made. -- Maquereau

Tie Breakers?

We seem to have a tie for second, and i recall the first and second team moving on (unless i'm horribly mistaken) So should we expect a tie breaker to hold us back? (Then again, Sage 1 lasts an extra week..) --Bhorror 15:09, 19 August 2006 (PDT)
