Royal Insanity is a crew that sails the Emerald Ocean. The crew flies the flag of Sparta.
History
Royal Insanity founded on 13 March, 2017 under the captain Alasmina and the first mate Deathface.
Royal Insanity was a part of a number of flags, both actively in blockades and as an event crew.
Death's Nightmare was the crew's first flag, and was left in October of 2018 after a falling out with the monarch, after which senior officer Mahnamahna was engaged in two PvP sea battles against the monarch of Death's Nightmare, and victorious, before the Royal Insanity never saw the flag again.
Spoon Republic was joined in November of 2018, and Royal Insanity was a part of the blockade scene again, with the captain Alasmina even holding a governor position for a short time. When Spoon Republic moved to Cerulean Ocean, Royal Insanity left the flag at the end of 2019.
The Last Navy took Royal Insanity in as part of their flag in early 2020. After a lot of work and a number of attempts, Royal Insanity decided they did not fit in, and left The Last Navy in the late August of 2020, remaining flagless for a short time.
On 16 September, 2020 captain Alasmina founded the flag Mad Marauders with the assistance of Duffman and his crew the Emerald Privateers. Mad Marauders was to be an event flag to get away from the increasingly toxic politics of the Emerald Ocean.
In mid-2021, the crew abandoned their flag and swapped into Sparta to play in an events flag that they got along well with. In October, Coldcharity was offered the rank of Senior Officer, and took the role.
In December 2021, Hesha was offered the position of Senior Officer, and became the crews newest Senior Officer.
Public Statement
We are a friendly crew looking for people who like to chat and pillage together. Anyone is welcome to join at the rank of pirate. Officer positions available to those with the skills and knowledge required.
Promotions
Pirate - just for joining :)
Officer - require 3 broads in piracy puzzles and your own ship OR have done officer training with one of the SO's
Fleet Officer - requires some experience in bnav and to have passed the officer test. Also need to have earned the trust of the crew.
Senior Officer - this position is given only to the most worthy . . . takes time and dedication to earn.
