Crimson Assurance is a crew on the Emerald Ocean. It is a member of the flag Spontaneous Combustion. It is named after a Monty Python 1983 short feature, The Crimson Permanent Assurance.

History

Crimson Assurance was founded on March 26th 2007 on the Sage Ocean when Galilei, Land, Socrates and Switzer decided to leave the crew A World Of Fun to start a new crew under the leadership of Galilei. They were soon joined by fellow pirates Bandanagirl and Blackbun, and a while later, by Wickedwench.

On April 2nd, 2007, the crew saw to the foundation of the flag Spontaneous Combustion, with Land as monarch.

The crew has achieved the crew rank of imperial for the first time on April 15th 2007.

Buckler was promoted to captain after his crew Dark Knights of Sage merged into Crimson Assurance. Galilei became a senior officer, then captain again, and is currently a senior officer after the promotion of Francisco to captain.
