Biography
Argos started playing in August 2004. Spawned on Cnossos, he joined The Foot Armada on the first day of his trial period. Reaching Legendary in Bilging and Swordfighting during his trial period, Argos was soon addicted to Y!pp and subscribed. The Foot Armada was largely US based, and since Argos is a Belgian, there was rarely anyone on when he was. He left and joined Coldfire, where he recieved Officer training by Gagarin. During his time in officer training, Argos met Trolldalen, who has not left his side since. Coldfire had a strict no pvp policy, and once Argos had completed his training and gotten the hang of battle navigation, he was yearning for Player vs player battles. In December 2004, opportunity knocked. Two members of Coldfire attempted a coup but failed, and their actions caused the crew to split and die. Argos was hell-bent on revenge, and started his private PvP crew, Troika. Troika consisted of Argos's alt, and three other alts. Troika's sole purpose was to pvp, and target the people that had killed Coldfire. Reigning supreme in Emerald, Troika soon made Sea Lords, and were teetering on the edge of Imperials.
Having beaten the enemy crew a dozen times, and fending off grudge ships sent out by flags that were allied to his enemies, Argos was feeling complacent. One day, however, a pirate called Llawela applied for a job in Troika. The members of Troika quickly fell in love with her, and they heartied. The next day, Llawela applied for a job again, checked the radar, and left again, without saying a word. Some minutes later, Gingerchops and Llawela sailing under the pvp crew Superlemon Krakatoa (not the flag, the crew that preceded it) and while the battle nav was fairly even, Gingerchops and Llawela crushed Argos and Trolldalen. Argos requested a rematch, with a similar outcome, and recognised that he had been bested. Llawela recruited the members of Troika into Dioses Y Demonios, and later got their mains, Argos, Trolldalen and Queequag.
In Dioses Y Demonios Argos started working on his stats, reaching ults in Sailing, Swordfighting, Carpentry, Distilling, Bilging, Alchemistry and Shipwrightery, in that order. He trained his solo pvp further, and managed to defeat Gingerchops and Llawela. Dioses Y Demonios was at that time still in Looterati, and because of the Jorvik Blockades, Argos got into the blockade game. He navigated at Jorvik VI and VII, Papaya IV and V, Wrasse IV, Ostreum IV and VII, Cleopatra's Pearls III, Turtle IV and V and Endurance IV. During the last round of Ostreum IV, Argos and Trolldalen got married in-game, as they are also together in real life. Having been on the first place of the sailing and swordfighting list, Argos has gotten far in the pirate world. His only aspiration left is to win a familiar, but he has refused to buy one through a ship auction, since he has a child like awe for large boats.
