History
Superlemon Krakatoa was originally the name of a tiny PvP crew of alts under the flag "Disco Pirate Super Party" based mostly in Ruby. Three of the members were SOs in Dioses Y Demonios (members of the Looterati flag at the time), but the rest of the crew were of a disparate nature - their main characters not from one specific crew nor flag. It was the mates' goals at the time simply to remain independent from any official alliances or ties, freeing them to adhere to their "non-disengage" PvP policy without preference or discrimination.
It was after this time that Dioses Y Demonios decided to plough their own furrow, leave Looterati, and go it alone on the big seas. The crew decided to adopt the partly defunct Superlemon Krakatoa name for flag purposes. Since then the flag has actively shunned official in-game ties, but maintains close friendships with like-minded pirate crews and flags.
On 17th July 2005, the small (approximately 35 mates) and unallied flag successfully blockaded Ostreum Island by beating Phoenix Reborn (almost 300 mates strong at that point) largely due to the support from SK's friends.
From the 1st-11th November 2005, SK were at war with Notorious Fandango (NoFam-SK war Mark I). SK won by 7 sinks to 2. This war was an event war, based around Rmarzbarr and his wife, Irelay.
From the 3rd-19th February 2006, SK were at war with Notorious Fandango (NoFam-SK war Mark II). SK won by 6 sinks to 3, 9-6 counting swordfights. This war was originally just declared to make the uncontested blockade of the 4th of February at Ostreum sinking, but two more weeks of sinking followed.
Ostreum Island had been the winner of the Anti-Tournament, which culminated in the blockade of Ostreum Island the 4th February but due to real life issues and the hour of the blockade, SK did not contend, but SK vowed they would return.
On 18th March 2006, Superlemon Krakatoa took back Ostreum Island island from Notorious Fandango
The flag believes strongly in openness and collective decision-making by all members. To this end, the monarch consults all flag mates on directions and decisions.
