Biography

Darkpheonix joined in late August of 2005. He went through several crews in his early days trying to find what he wanted. The first crew he settled into was Royal Pillagers. Here he learned most of what he knows now. He became Officer, then Fleet Officer, First Mate, and then Senior Officer. He stayed there until mid-Decemer of 2005. He left due to arguements with fellow crew members.

A good friend, Milz, then invited Darkpheonix to join her crew. He accepted and settled in as Senior Officer and First Mate of Golden Bladers. Here he made long lasting friendships, especially with Milz and Stormyme. He also got his first taste of politics in Golden Bladers. He became Prince of the flag Golden Elite. It was a small flag spearheaded by Golden Bladers. He took the lead role in forming alliances with other flags. In time, he became an outstanding diplomat. He was able to make several alliances possible for Golden Elite. After the King of Golden Elite went dormant, there was a big debate about who would take the throne, Darkpheonix or Milz. After an arguement, Darkpheonix left the crew to think and get his head on straight. After he returned an hour and a half later, the decision had been made to disband Golden Elite. Golden Bladers remained independent for several weeks afterwards.

Golden Bladers then joined Euphoria. Darkpheonix was soon promoted to Prince and assumed the title Vice-Minister of External Affairs. He again exercised his diplomacy to make several alliances possible for Euphoria. At least 5 alliances were made possible through his hard work.

Golden Bladers also went through many changes during their time in Euphoria. Darkpheonix, Milz, and Stomryme came up with several ideas to help the crew. Golden Bladers quickly rose to the #6 spot on crew fame with over 300 memebers. However, due to Euphoria's lack of blockades and activities, Golden Bladers left the flag and Darkpheonix resigned as Prince to set off on a new adventure.

This new adventure led to the creation of Black Warriors. Darkpheonix became King of the flag and quickly instigated a 4-way alliance with Requiem, -'Star Explorers'-, and Pride of the Pacific. This proved to be a productive alliance. Black warriors flourished into a medium sized flag of 400 and claimed the #15 spot on the Viridian flag fame. However, in an attempt to build a blockade fleet, Darkpheonix established a 25% tax system on pillages. This turned out to be a mistake and set off a chain reaction that destroyed Golden Bladers from the inside out. Several Royals, Senior Officers, and Officers left Golden Bladers as a result of this mistake. Several disagreements also led to the weakening of Black Warriors. Darkpheonix came to the realization that being king meant nothing without your friends. It was then, that he resigned as King of Black Warriors in pursuit of a new pirate life. A life where he could take the game at his own pace and joke with his friends. This dream led Darkpheonix to found the crew Midnight Shadow. He created it along with the closely linked core of Golden Bladers. Many of the current members are ex-Golden Bladers.

After remaining independent for a while, Darkpheonix founded the flag Ransom. The flags purpose was to give all friends of Midnight Shadow a flag to call home. However, in response to some annoying flags Ransom took on a militant role and declared war on at least 10 flags. No one reciprocated however and Ransom once again settled into a supporting role for their strongest allies, Requiem.

Darkpheonix went through a period of dormancy. As a result, 2 crews left Ransom. This left it with just two crews, Midnight Shadow and Golden Bladers. Once he returned, Darkpheonix declared he has retired from the pirate life. He now logs on about once a week to talk and joke with his close friends and is always ready for a good time.
