We are a flag of excellent crews, with high standards. We welcome crews that wish to stand with us in these turbulent times. We also welcome allies to stand with us and stand by us, as we will stand by you for our word is our bond.
Judge us not by the size of fleet or number, but rather judge us by the courage of our actions. Our politics are simple, as simple can be: The King is the captain of the founding crew, the Privateers, plain and simple Royalty is for exceptional members of any member crews, based on size of crew. The royal shall be at least a SO within their member crew. (Crew fame determines number of royality for each crew) Titled is the same a royalty, but shall at least be an officer of their member crew. The number of titled positions is also based on crew fame.
In flag matters, the members of the Governing Council (consisting of Royals, Titled and the Monarch) will have one vote apiece, with simple majority rules on most flag matters and ? approvals to declare war and approve alliances.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs (currently none) is our ambassador to the other flags. The minister is empowered to represent the flag and can negotiate alliances, subject to the approval of the Governing Council.
The Minister of War (Quasar) is responsible for planning and coordinating any blockade and war, as decided by the Governing Council.
The Minister of Finance (Hamm) is responsible for helping to gather and to maintain the flag’s war chest. The minister must be highly trusted for this position.
The Minster of External Affairs (none currently) is charged with maintaining a current knowledge of flags, islands, upcoming blockades and general political climate on the ocean. The minister shall also assist the Minister of War in his duties as the need arises.
These ministers are appointed by the Governing Council to act in the best interest of the flag as a whole. These ministers are, by their appointment, subject to the authority of the Council.
