Jacktheblack is the Monarch of Vicious and Senior Officer of Crimson Seablades on Hunter.
Jacktheblack is a retired Shanty Jockey for Shanty Raid-io on the Midnight ocean.
He is also the current governor of Jorvik Island.

I started playing this game way back in Feb 2004 when it was recommended to me by another Editor on the college newspaper. I played for a bit and got hooked on the game right away and subscribed within a few days. I started off in a crew called Azure Rebellion under the flag Maritime Law. I was there for about 3-4 months. During that time I ran a 24 hour Grand Frigate pillage and had a blast. I grew bored with the flag due to the fact that I enjoyed blockades and they were only looking at help supporting other flags take islands and not make a move of their own.
I then created my own crew called Maritime Marines, and stayed under the flag for a little while, hoping to be able to change the policy of the flag as a captain, but that did not work. The crew soon left the flag and changed its name to the Atha'an Miere, from the Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series, meaning Sea People. I created a flag called The Forsaken for a short amount of time, but since I wasn't well known then I didn't get off the ground.
Soon after I created the flag I had a chance to go to San Francisco and meet all the people who play this game at the Ringers party. It was there that I met many mates who have become friends. One person I meet who Homullus, who impressed me when I talked to him about his experiences of the game and some of his plans.
A week or so after I got back, I soon talked to him in game about having my crew join his flag, Midnight Armada. Since the crew was rather large at the time, I was about to get a royalty position for myself and was for the first time really getting into the political aspects of the game. I helped the flag in many ways, including with blockade preparation. I had naved in several blockades previous to joining the flag, but this was the first time I had ever worked on getting items ready to take a island and colonize it. I found I rather enjoyed it and began to look for other ways to do more of it.
On my search for more blockade experience I ran across Robertdonald before the Turtle II blockade. He was standing around the docks looking for navigators and I offered to help him out with it. We found we worked well together and soon became good hearties and pillaged a lot together.
Soon afterwards MA took the island of Park during which I got my first admiral experience in a blockade. Soon I began to have conflict with the other royalty over how the island should be laid out and my friendship with Robertdonald, who was having issues with another royalty member. Rob ended up blockading Winter Solstice and Park. I stayed with Midnight Armada and ended up Admiraling both blockades against him, but the royalty was still at odds with me. I was soon forced to leave the flag due to many differences. I felt that my crew should stay for the reason that it was still owed a distillery on Park. With that, I handed over the Captain's hat, and made my way to Mercenary Squadron and Scallywag Syndicate.
