Rebel Rousers is currently a dormant flag on the Emerald Ocean. Its current monarch is Belle-East.


Brief history

Rebel Rousers was a flag created by Belle and her crew Serendipity after leaving YPP - Your Purdy Pimps. The flag which began as a way of Serendipity to disassociate from a blockading flag quickly evolved into quite the opposite.

After joining up crews such as Overdose, a former flag member of Requited Desires, and Salvage led by the blockade savvy Gunnermooch; Rebel Rousers turned its eye towards island ownership and economic development.

Rebel Rousers continue to hold their stake in island ownership.

On February 15th, 2009; The disbanding and seperation of crew from the flag Beyond the veil; Rebel Rousers welcomed the crew of Skull Bashers to their flag as a home for them to continue to play the game in their personal fashion.

On March 5th, 2009; Rebel Rousers disolved all of their alliances with fellow island holders as an attempt to become more independent.

On May 2nd, 2009; after successfully taking two more islands, Paihia and Ilha da Aguia. Rebel Rousers became the first flag on the Hunter ocean to successfully hold more than 5 islands simultaneously. They controlled Paihia, Tumult, Anegada, Doyle, Gallows, and Ilha da Aguia.

On December 7, 2009; upon receiving the transfer of The Lowland Hundred from Access Denied; Rebel Rousers once again disolved all of their alliances, with the exception of Crazy Bastards, to again push towards political independence.

  • Hosted Brig It On!! on August 17th, 2008 in which Doyle island was transferred away. Results can be found here.
  • Hosted On the Rocks! on September 7th, 2008 in which Gallows was transferred away. Results can be found here.
  • Hosted Prose For Clothes on May 18th, 2009; a forum based writing event in which winners recieved outfits of their choice. Results can be found here
  • Hosted The Great Gallows Giveaway in May 2009; a series of event blockades at other Rebel Rouser controlled islands in which the winner of the series won Gallows Island. Results can be found here.
  • Hosted Ancient Hunter History throughout ; in where participants used the YPPedia along with in-game support to answer trivia questions about the ocean. Results can be seen here.
  • Hosted Marlowe Give-Away on April 24th, 2010 in which Marlowe was encouraged to be blockaded by flags which had never owned an island before. While considerably arranged as an event, it was a real blockade and not an event blockade. Results can be seen on the Hunter blockade history.
  • Hosted Lowland Giveaway Event! from August into September 2010; in which Lowland Hundred was transfered to a flag that accumulated the most points during a series of event blockades. Results can be seen here.
