Crimsonator
Crimsonator is lord of Fear No Monsters and captain of the Beardless Mountaineers.
Biography
Although Crimsonator has been playing Puzzle Pirates under various pseudonyms since late 2007, he only settled with Crimsonator as his main pirate on the 14th of August, 2009, its name inspired by cheesy 80's films and the then recent release of the Crimson Ocean.
Crimsonator started his puzzling career by being drafted into Glimmer of Light by Frame, and alongside Captinthe, his friend from the world where the sun shines, he pillaged and plundered (albeit poorly) for a few years. At some point in 2010, Crimsonator decided to join his mates who have left Glimmer of Light and Ascalon in order to form The Fearless Rebels, but he chose not to play the game anymore afterwards.
In late 2010, Crimsonator returned to the game to join the Knights of Saint George in an effort to preserve the crew and the flag of Ascalon, but over the years, the crew fell into dormancy save for a small handful of members. Over the next few years, Crimsonator befriended Korte, and he spent his time talking and chilling in his shack on Wensleydale.
In early 2014, inspired by Korte's return to active puzzling, Crimsonator took up carpentry, and he worked towards only one goal: attaining a pig and naming it "Kosher", and having achieved his goal in March of that year, he grew disappointed with how he never got job invitations for sea monster hunts, which lead him to hold long-lasting grudges against many of the navigators of that scene.
Crimsonator inexplicably disappeared between April and late July of that year, only to return to actively playing Puzzle Pirates again for the first time in several years. Having spent hours upon hours on end carpentering in the navy and achieving the navy rank of Admiral, Crimsonator slowly but surely proved himself worthy of attending citadel runs, and in the meantime, he had also worked on improving his battle navigation skills.
After nearly four years, Korte finally deemed Crimsonator worthy of a promotion to officer in August of 2014, which incited him to purchase his first ships. On the 29th of August, having purchased his first sloop, the Circassian Beauty, his crewmates, Captinthe and Defrass, urged Crimsonator to embark on his first pillage that ultimately led to a PVP fight which he miraculously won.
Crimsonator then regularly ran pillages with the help of his crewmates with the purpose of improving his battle navigation skills, a puzzle which, although he enjoyed quite a bit, was intimidating to him initially. It was during this time that Knights of Saint George became active again due to the small, yet significant, influx of new members and officers to the crew.
Crimsonator was promoted to senior officer on the 16th of January, and he ran sea monster hunts with varying degrees of success in early 2015, but he found that he was able to port most of his Cursed Isle runs without much damage.
Owing to his general awesomeness, Philliphius deemed Crimsonator worthy of being conferred the title of Lord of Glorious Geeks on the 26th of February.
On the 21st of May 2015, Crimsonator left Knights of Saint George only to join the sister crew, Rocket Science, a few days later, where he served as senior officer for several months. There, he met Maycomb, with whom he founded the Beardless Mountaineers on the 5th of July 2015.
Nowadays Crimsonator spends most of his time complaining, memorizing the ocean, running and joining trips to the Cursed Isles and harassing Samfun.
