Go with the Flow was established on August 20th 2005 by Shodan, captain of the crew On the Rocks. They quickly earned a reputation for being skilled fighters and exceptional puzzlers. With the acrimonious split from The Darkside over with, Prisoner and his crew Forget About It were keen to join up with Shodan and his merry band. They were soon followed by Death Pirates, Bounty Hunters, and The Caravel Corsairs. Death Pirates and Bounty Hunters joined the flag after an argument in Mushroom Kingdom and the prior break up of The Darkside.
They play with only one royalty member, the monarch. The others in the Ruling Council of the flag are as Titled Members. Issues are dealt with externally on flag forums specifically designed for the purpose, and all flag mates are encouraged and advised to have their say in flag policies and ideals.
The crew skeletons in your closet joined the flag on the 13th September 2005, under the command of Captain Jackspeed.
Crew HaKuNa MaTaTa joined the flag on 15th September, led by captain Stylish.
On September 18th, at about 1pm game time, Hell's Wrath finally returned the war declaration that had been sent by Go with the Flow the day before. This was due to Go with the Flow apparently being made aware of some unfair treatment of jobbers by Hell's Wrath, and seeking to right some wrongs. Several battles ensued over the following days and the ship count was 5 lost on the side of Hell's Wrath, with Go with the Flow only losing a couple of grappled battles. On the second day of the war, Hell's Wrath lost two of their crews, Billabongs who joined The Red Flag Armada and War Gods who joined up with Conquistadores del Sage. On the third day, and following another sinking, the lead crew in Hell's Wrath, Satans Flame also left the flag, along with Shadow Raiders and Thunders Revenge. Satans Flame went to join Mushroom Kingdom, a previous ally of Go with the Flow who's alliance had to be temporarily severed in order for the war to take place. Shadow Raiders and Thunders Revenge went to join up with Tactical's new flag Shadow Company. This was an interesting move, as Mushroom Kingdom had a war declaration out on Shadow Company for a number of days prior to the move, so previous flagmates now found themselves seemingly at odds in a conflict.
On 19th September, Go with the Flow added Ocean's Fury to their ranks, under the fine leadership of Rift, and at that point had 12 out of the top 15 Sea Battlers in the ocean in their flag.
In early October 2005, Bounty Hunters left the flag due to the inactivity of their captain, Hunter. A large proportion of their crew joined up with other flag-mates in other crews.
Shortly after, Renaissance, Prince of the flag Muro Ami sent a random and unwanted crew invitation to On the Rocks, the monarch crew of the flag. This brought some discussion from the Ruling Council of the flag, who decided that an appropriate punishment would be to declare war on Muro Ami, who were currently sitting at number one in the fame standings for the ocean. The declaration was never returned, and was rescinded after a week of waiting.
Subsequently, in mid October, the flag was joined by The Sparrows to add to its collective might.
