Oldwater
Oldwater is a pirate on the Emerald Ocean.
The beginning
Oldwater started early in 2011 on the ocean Sage, with a new name and an old past he had returned as he had vowed. He joined the crew Iceholes of the flag Twisted Parallax where he quickly advanced his stats and rank. Soon he became a senior officer and was a well respected member of both the crew and flag. Years passed quickly and Oldwater's fortune slowly grew, he often helped fund the flag for blockades, ships and stock. He spent some time as a merchant, trading mostly in ships, pets and the occasional rare item. He also spent some of his time running stalls, while most were iron mongers, he also attempted an apothecary. Oldwater also tried his hand at running forages, but quickly became bored. Late in 2013, shortly after the merger the Sage and Hunter oceans, he retired himself from ship duties and began to focus instead on poker.
The crisis era
Early in 2013 Twisted Parallax headed by Iceholes decided on a final gambit, to take Admiral Island as their own. But, alas! Even with funding from Oldwater and mass ocean support their attempt was crushed by trickery, the defenders had charged 100% tax and built 10 million PoE to pay jobbers, and thus the blockade was lost. Shortly after this loss the crews and flag disintegrated over a month's time. Having met one final time with the leaders of his crew and flag, they went their separate ways. Oldwater joined Alynway, who once was a lady in Twisted Parallax, in her crew The Chat Boochers of the flag Slightly Pixilated, where he happily remains to this day.
The poker era
Many fortunes were won and lost early in this era. But with the help of Teemo and Dachimpy's Basic Poker Guide, Oldwater became a disciplined player. To this day, most of Oldwater's PoE is won through poker. Though rumor has it that he brought himself out of retirement and can rarely be found running pillages on his fanchuan Folly of Old or crew Cursed Islands on his sloop Cursed Island Major.
