The battle axe is a type of sword, used by the Brigand King Brynhild Skullsplitter, as well as vikings. It cannot be produced at an iron mongers, and no pirate has been known to own one.
The battle axes wielded by vikings always have the same drop pattern as a backsword. However, the battle axe had also been seen as part of a tournament configuration [1] in 2008. It was reported to have had a drop pattern similar or identical to that of a cleaver.
