why is this page here?

Hold is sort of what I was looking for but it doesn't include coffer interface via the chest. Billynoleg 04:36, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

I think it's a good idea, though it could possibly be expanded a little on points such as adding/removing poe from the coffers (especially in a building), how chests allow access to the coffers, and the difference between the hold and booty coffers. Good work on starting the page. =) --Belthazar451 05:09, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
bump - yeah, the two are quite rightly separate things - a hold stores commodities, a coffers stores poe. I think this ought to be a subsection of PoE though. Depositing/withdrawing poe is too relevant to be left out of the poe article, but there's too little in this article if we left a summary on that page and built on this one. I propose merging this into PoE. thoughts? --Therobotdude 19:04, 15 August 2013 (PDT)
If "Coffers" gets merged into anything, it should be merged into "Hold". The coffers of a business (stall or shoppe), ship, or place of government (fort or palace) are within the respective hold interface. -- Franklincain (t/c) 19:58, 15 August 2013 (PDT)
I disagree, the coffers and hold are completely different things. A hold stores commodities, a coffers stores poe. The hold also functions as a chest to access the coffers, but shoppes and ships would still function fine if an additional chest was used for depositing/withdrawing poe instead using the hold interface. Finally, a house has a coffers but not a hold. --Therobotdude 20:24, 15 August 2013 (PDT)
