Elephant
An elephant is a type of pet. Elephants can be bought from the palace shoppe for 100,000 Pieces of Eight and, on doubloon oceans, 100 doubloons.
Purchasable elephants have a choice of four different skin colors: bronze, silver, grey, and steel. The blanks come in twenty five different primary cloth colors, and twenty five different secondary cloth colors - all of the standard colors save black and gold. There is speculation that Ocean Masters and Ringers can create elephants with black and/or gold coverings.
Limited editions
A banana elephant is a limited edition pet, available during the Banana Mystery Box Promotion during May 2011. The banana elephant is a white elephant wearing banana as a primary and secondary cloth color.
A black elephant is a pet available as a limited edition during Halloween of 2008. It could be purchased from the palace shoppe for 175,000 Pieces of Eight, and, on doubloon oceans, 175 doubloons. The black elephant could also be found in series 1 or series 2 black boxes. The black elephant can be found in twenty-one of the twenty-three colors that were in use at the time - a rare black and black cloth combination was available.
A gold elephant is a limited edition pet that can be won by opening a gold box. It was first available with the release of gold boxes on April 6, 2012.
A pink elephant is a limited edition pet, available for purchase on St. Patrick's Day 2012. The pink elephant came in all of the primary and secondary cloth colors that are standard for the purchasable elephants.
A spring green elephant is a limited edition pet, available during the May Mystery Promotion of 2010. It was one of the prizes acquired through a mysterious spring green package received only after purchases of $9.95 and higher of doubloons or subscription between May 7th and May 17th, 2010. The spring green elephant is a white elephant wearing spring green as a primary and secondary cloth color.
A white elephant is a limited edition pet, which was only available during summer 2007 and winter 2009. It could be purchased from the palace shoppe for 150,000 Pieces of Eight, and, on doubloon oceans, 150 doubloons. The white elephant can be found in twenty-one of the twenty-three colors that were in use at the time - as usual, black and gold cloth colors were not available.
