Weeeeeellll, I'm not sure what it is, but some of the links are not to the things they're supposedly for. This is going to need major checking through and searching to fix it up. Maybe we can throw the challenge up to the search-fu masters to find the correct links :) --Guppymomma 19:25, 12 August 2005 (PDT)

Updating The List

A few things on the list were implemented recently, but atteSmythe hasn't updated his post yet. Would it be ok if I removed those things from The List on this article, even though atteSmythe still has them on his version of The List?--Zyborg22 15:14, 14 August 2005 (PDT)

Yes. Please feel free to edit the thing now that it's been wikified :) --Guppymomma 16:33, 14 August 2005 (PDT)
As a side note, since the thread is locked, I'm no longer able to update it. --AtteSmythe 11:41, 18 August 2005 (PDT)

TOCright

Meh, it seems broken for this page. Any ideas? – Yaten talk 15:06, 19 August 2005 (PDT)

Under construction

I'm going to be editing this page for formatting and linkage over the next day or so. Please be patient. --Barrister 11:13, 8 November 2005 (PST)

I've fixed all the links and associated full names with each of them. Anything else people would like to see? (I have one more formatting thing to do, but otherwise I'm done.) --Barrister 13:18, 9 November 2005 (PST)
Looks good to me, mate. Much better than the original formatting taken from the post, at any case. I find all the horizontal bars annoying, but that's a consequence of YPPedia style. Could we consider relaxing that, given the large number of sections on this page? --AtteSmythe 13:10, 10 November 2005 (PST)
Okay, I changed the subheaders to bullets. Thoughts? --Barrister 13:32, 10 November 2005 (PST)
Shiny. --AtteSmythe 14:13, 10 November 2005 (PST)

Misconstrued?

"Browser Based Client" links to a post where Cleaver discusses a browser based client--it's full of "not at all practical", "big, big job", "likely to hurt", and "Arrrgh! The pain!". This sounds like an anti-list item to me. He's saying they like the idea, but it'll probably never happen. He does, however, speak favorably of "stall-management clients" and "a YPP buddy / chat application".

Should the heading be clarified, or is it good enough as is, letting the post speak for itself? Should full browser based clients be added to the Anti-list? --Odiferous 07:16, 21 December 2005 (PST)

Change it to stall management clients in a browser; these are perhaps on The List. Anti-list a full client or puzzles-only client in a browser. -- Faulkston 17:59, 21 December 2005 (PST)

Where is there Developer feedback on players not being able to produce charts from memorized league points? I don't recall any.

Nemo is disagreeing with Cleaver on totally separate say sailing puzzles but not variations within the existing puzzle.

I agree that recording puzzles may be complex but at least the data can be aggregated on the client and then sent to the server in a batched transmission rather than requiring continuous streams of packets. Whether or not it is feasible to record say Treasure Drop is undetermined so far.

The global purse certainly eliminates the current notions of player run banking but we'll have to see what Cleaver plans for us. -- Faulkston 20:10, 21 December 2005 (PST)

Shanghai points or other rewards for referrals resulting in subscriptions or doubloon purchases

Doesn't it already give you Shanghais for purchasing subscription?
