Blood Eagles was the first flag to hold Remora Island on the Midnight Ocean when it won the blockade on the 15th September, 2004. Remora had previously been blockaded by Widows and Orphans on August 28th, but the island was successfully defended from colonisation by a coalition of flags led by Crimson Tide. The island was lost on October 24th when Allied Foundation became the first flag to take an island from another player-controlled flag. Previously all successful blockades had meant that islands were either won from Vilya or were now colonised where previously they were not.

The flag now lies mostly dormant, with only a handful of crewmembers still active.

Public Statement

In blood there is nobility and truth. Sometimes blood must be spilled to find that truth.
