Notorious is a flag on the Sage Ocean.

Notorious was founded on November 30, 2005 by Oldhairless and was one of the only examples of a dual-monarch flag, with Saluteme and Oldhairless trading places once or twice yearly until Saluteme's departure. Notorious was one of the principle members of the defunct RAN alliance and the JoKE alliance group.
On January 23, 2006, the flag purchased the Isle of Kent from Go with the Flow and held it for a little over a year until Kent V. Notorious has been involved in almost every blockade at the Isle of Kent.
For Notorious' second birthday, they enlisted Scarymuffin's help and had a series of successful birthday events.
During "'Choose your own Island' Opening - starting May 5th, 2006" event, Notorious temporarily joined a group called Sage Needs a Large, or SNL for short, of which consisted many different flags aiming for a large island opening on Sage.
Sadly, on June 24th, 2008, Saluteme, Queen of Notorious and Captain of Swashbucklers of Sage, left Notorious and found a new home in Musketeers of Sage. Oldhairless took over monarchy ship once again, while Saluteme left Ruminor in charge of Swashbucklers of Sage. After a time Oldhairless passed the crown on to Ruminor, who was the monarch of the flag until the newly re-formed notorious; the crown was passed to Hiba in Aug 2010.

We are Notorious! We are a flag dedicated to hardworking organized crews, who have a love for pillaging.
We will take part in Blockades for the sheer joy of shooting stuff... and will consider alliances with those who wish long lasting and trusted friendships.

X - Notorious defeated Eternal Glory in a 3 round sinking blockade and took control of the island.
XI - Notorious defeated Black Veil in a 5 round sinking blockade and defended the island.
XII - Notorious defeated Madam Yu Jian in a 4 round sinking blockade and defended the island.
XIII - No Apologies defeated Notorious in a 3 round non sinking blockade and took control of the island.

XL - Notorious successfully defended the island by defeating Shadows Of Sage in a four round sinking blockade. The sinking started from round 2, where Blades of Sage and League of Light 3rd partied round 2 and 3. Shadows Of Sage did not contest round 4.- Intent
XLI - Notorious successfully defended the island by defeating Bananas in Arms in a five round sinking blockade. The sinking started from round 1, where Shadows Of Sage participated in Round 5 as ally of Bananas in Arms when they pulled out.
XLII - Eternal Glory defeated Notorious in a 3 round sinking blockade and took control of the island - Intent
V - Notorious took control of Caravanserai Island in 4 rounds. The first round was won by "Uncolonizer's Inc." which was created and disbanded that same day, who did not drop a war chest. Mushroom Kingdom had disbanded the week before, making the island uncolonized and ensuring that the blockade would be sinking. The 4th round was uncontested by anyone but Notorious.
VI - Verus Fidelitas took control of Caravanserai Island in a 3 round blockade. Notorious pulled out after losing rounds 1 and 2 by a very wide margin. Round 3 was a flagsit by Verus Fidelitas.
XI - Notorious defeated Eternal Glory in a 5 round sinking blockade. This blockade ran concurrently with Kent X and Basset XI
XII - Notorious defeated a 19-strength Vargas the Mad (and his flag, The Enlightened) in a 5-round sinking Brigand King blockade. - Intent

VII - Spontaneous Combustion took control of Kashgar in a 3 round non-sinking blockade. Notorious was only able to contend in the 3rd round since this blockade ran concurrently with Kent XV.
I - Notorious colonized Kasidim Island in a nail-biting 5 round blockade against Les Aristocrates. Notorious, even though losing the first two rounds, put up a good fight in the final three with the final turn of the 5th round deciding the victor. - Intent
II - Mushroom Kingdom defeated Notorious 3-1 to take control of Kasidim. Despite large difference in jobber pay, Notorious put up a valiant fight in one of the few two contender blockades to go past 3 rounds.
IV - Notorious defeated Les Aristocrates in 3 rounds. Notorious reciprocated the war declaration at the beginning of Round 2, making the final two rounds sinking. Les Aristocrats pulled out halfway through round 3.
V - Passive Aggression took control of Kent in a 3 round blockade. After being forced into a sinking blockade by a second drop from Les Aristocrates (since the war from Kent IV was still on) and being outjobbed by nearly 200 pirates, Notorious only participated with the goal of gaining injuries.
In mid-April 2007 Passive Aggression transferred Kent to Notorious. Although the transfer was delayed slightly due to technical difficulty, Blackbone was installed as governor as soon as the transfer was announced.

In late November 2007, Passive Aggression transferred Kiwara to Notorious, following Notorious' win in "PA's Intent to PvP Transfer, with an island size prize!" Riggie was installed as governor after Burninator was governor for a day to get a portrait commemorating his Grand Frigate sink that won the event for Notorious.

VIII - Notorious defended Kiwara against Death's Dagger's in a 3 round non-sinking blockade.
IX - Shadows Of Sage defeated Notorious in a 4 round non-sinking blockade to take control of Kiwara.
II - Notorious lost to The Light Brigade in a 3 round sinking blockade.
XVII - Mushroom Kingdom defeated Notorious (contender) and Illium Eternae (defender) in a 3 round non-sinking blockade. The blockade was ran out from Candy Coated Choas.
