Shark Raiders is a crew that sails the Sage Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of Margaritaville.
History
Shark Raiders was founded by Bolletje on 17 September, 2005 with the assistance of Aapje and Cris, all former members of Curse of the Moonlight.
The crew had a rough start owning only one sloop between its four members. However, the crew soon added a cutter and a merchant brig to its fleet. During this time, Virusnine joined the crew, providing needed assistance in crew growth.
After the fall of the Curse of the Moonlight, two senior officers of that crew, Shazza and Lorddarkcola, joined Shark Raiders, bringing with them two additional ships.
Shark Raiders first joined the flag Hardcore Explorers, but then decided that the flag Muro Ami was more interesting, due to the increased social atmosphere the crew found.
The crew celebrated the marriage of Shazza and Virusnine while saying goobye to Lorddarkcola who left to find bluer waters. It was then that the home grown Shark Raider, Cailoo, was promoted to senior officer, being the first new recruit to so advance. After a curious time in Muro Ami, the Shark Raiders left this flag due to a preceived lack of communication.
Together with the The Jolly Rogers, Shark Raiders founded the flag of Blaze of Glory.
Lots of officers followed Aapje and Cris to found the crew, Leviathans Requiem. Many of the officers who didn't join Leviathans Requiem left for other crews leaving the leadership of the crew to Sandokan and Playboybbz.
By August of 2007, Chickinbunni had taken over as captain of the crew and the crew had left the flag Blaze of Glory to join the flag Army Of Darkness.
The crew has since moved to the flag Tea and Strumpets, then Margaritaville, and now League of Light.
