Non-player pirate

A non player pirate, also known as NPP, bot, or NPC, is a game character recognized by a white name that is also two words. Common examples include brigands, the NPPs inside inns (some of which are known as "old salts"), and the NPP captain of the Pollywog tutorial ship.
NPPs can also be hired to help sail a ship. These NPPs are called swabbies.
