Cat

A cat is a type of pet. They can be purchased from the palace shoppe for 12,000 Pieces of Eight, and, on doubloon oceans, 12 doubloons.

A black cat is a limited edition pet, which was only available for Halloween 2006, 2007 and 2008. It was also made available on Friday the 13th of February and March, 2009. It could be purchased from the palace shoppe for 50,000 PoE, and, on doubloon oceans, 50 doubloons.

A mala-cat is a limited edition pet, which was released on June 3rd, 2008 to celebrate the opening of the new doubloon ocean Malachite. Mala-cats were sold at the palace shoppe for 50,000 PoE and 50 doubloons. No new mala-cats were available after the two-week period of availability.

A gold cat is a limited pet available throughout January 2009. Gold cats were offered as competition prizes and were made available from the palace shoppe for 50,888 PoE each and only came in all-gold. On doubloon oceans, gold cats cost an additional 50 doubloons.

A persimmon cat was a reward for joining the Golden Doubloon Club on the Crimson Ocean during July 2009. It was not availble otherwise, and has not been seen since.

A ghost cat is a special type of cat only obtainable from the Haunted Seas. Pirate may receive one during booty division of Treasure chests.

Cats have a choice of thirteen primary colors and thirteen secondary colors, though green, gold and black are not normally purchaseable from the palace shoppe.

During Halloween, 2006 and 2007, a black cat was available from the palace shoppe. It came in only one variety, all-black. Other variations are included in the above chart for completeness.

On June 3rd, 2008, a light green Mala-cat was available from the palace shoppe.
