Pause For Thorpe is an upgraded Inn located on Blackthorpe Island. It was built in February 2006. It was originally called "Officers Club".
The current name is a play on the phrase "Pause for thought", and was chosen to reflect the laid-back atmosphere one might expect to find in an inn.
