Catalina
Catalina is a pirate who sails the Cobalt Ocean. She is a fleet officer in the crew of Twilight's Sabre, under the flag of National Pirate Radio.

Catalina was the daughter of a minor nobleman and governor. When no handsome and daring pirate appeared to rescue her from an arranged marriage to the boorish captain of the guard, she ran away, resolving to become one herself. She came to Cobalt in late 2005.
Alone in an unfamiliar ocean, with only her grandfather's sword and her wits to protect her, she was soon befriended by Teralyna and the other pirate ladies (Kemmy and Materials) of Twilight's Sabre. At that time, the crew was the core of the flag Impavidus Formido. She was there when they took the outpost of Conglin Island for their own and helped defend it several times before it was finally lost to What The Falchion.
One of her first big purchases was a maroon and gold gown, similar to one her father once bought for her. It was a point of pride that she earned this one by her own hand, by pillaging and saving her shop wages. She wore this gown to the wedding of Teralyna and Materials.
Today, like most of the crew, Catalina is semi-retired. She spends much of her time in her cozy cottage on Napi Peak, where she is employed by the flag shipyard and distillery. She still enjoys jobbing with other crews for pillages, adventures, and the occasional blockade.

- Inspirations were the beautiful Spanish daughter from Sid Meier's Pirates! and Elena (Catherine Zeta-Jones) from the recent Zorro movies.
- Is fluent in Spanish (the player somewhat less so).
- Owns a sloop (the Clever Sailfish) and a war brig (the Brilliant Clownfish).
- Has memorized the routes of the Jade Archipelago and half of the Garnet Archipelago.
