Clothing
Clothing consists of all the tradeable items purchased at a tailor. It is probably the most distinguishing difference between players' characters. Clothing is often the first thing a new player purchases. There are no limits to how much clothing a pirate can carry on them at a time.
Restrictions
Much of the clothing can only be worn by subscribers. Exceptions are listed here; some clothing can only be worn by officers or above, or only by royalty.

It is not possible to wear clothing meant for the opposite sex. If you are carrying such clothing on you, it will be in the Miscellaneous section of your booty.
Products and Recipes
There are fifty-seven different clothing products (27 for males and 30 for females) and eighteen different colors possible. Since some products have a secondary color, there are over 14,000 possible products. The following table links to pages that list all the products and their recipes. If the recipe includes two listings for the same commodity, assume the first is the primary color. Some clothing products have a required secondary or tertiary color, which is always white. Items with purple and black will sometimes have additional doubloon costs. Note that rags only come in red, blue, white, and tan except as event or tournament prizes.
