Biography

Groshawk is currently, and happily, a fleet officer of Red Skies At Night, under the flag Sailor's Delight.

She washed ashore Tigerleaf Mountain on the quiet afternoon of 22 September 2007, wholly and blissfully oblivious of all things piratey. After several weeks of blinking through a veil of green, Groshawk was plucked out of the seas by a benevolent hand and taken under wing by the crew Midnight Aurora of the flag Imperial Coalition, then under the leadership of Karanga. She spent the following six weeks slowly accumulating a solid base of hearties, and worked her way to the position of officer under the patient tutelage of Cloudpuppy.

After much deliberation, Groshawk left Midnight Aurora during a period of turmoil to aid several hearties in the process of strengthening a smaller crew. Shortly after, and several days before she was to accept an invitation to join Infinite Depths, Groshawk found herself the sudden victim of a fortunate dock-tarting incident and was kidnapped into Red Skies At Night under the same flag.

Notes of Interest

• The displayed portrait was inspired by the Droste effect, or mise en abyme. The Droste nurse, whose uniform she attempted to reconstruct, would have perhaps been better represented with a white savvy hat [2].

• Groshawk recieved an eyepatch injury on March 29, 2008 after sinking in Atlantis with Sexynika and several dear flag members, along with a total cargo worth over 1 million pieces of eight.
