Soul Mates is a flag on the Viridian Ocean founded in the year 2006 on June 13th.
Public Statement
Soul Mates is a place to find good times, good pillages and good people. We are now entering a new era in Soul Mates, but the old principles remain. We uphold respect for each of our members; we are loyal to our allies and strive to be the best flag in the ocean. All this is accomplished by acting together as a team, with everyone -- from the King to the newest greenie -- having a place in the flag. This is the only way for us to achieve the greatness I feel we are destined to. We are accepting new crews into the flag. Royalty comes after a few days to avoid flag hoppers. To maintain royalty, a high standard of conduct must be maintained. We expect our royals to be good examples of conduct to the rest of the flag, as well as a positive representation of us to the rest of the ocean. One royalty position is initially granted after a few days, with a second as numbers and activity dictate. Please contact myself or a royal to arrange joining us. As for alliances, we very much wish to be contacted before any more proposals are sent. Those that are discussed before hand will receive serious consideration, provided they fit in with the framework of our current alliances. Those that are not discussed before hand or do not fit in the current alliance framework will more than likely end up in the bilge water. I finally want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the royals, officers, members, hearties and jobbers that have helped to make this flag such a great place to puzzle!

History
Soul Mates was founded on June 13, 2006 from the crew The Soul Collectors by Wolfmedic, Meerca, Chriskringle, Carmens, and Yelerbeard; after they left their pervious flag Paradise.
On May 5th, 2007 Tomasco became King due to a radical work schedule change by Wolfmedic.
On January 8th, 2008 Soul Mates assumed control of Moab after the island was purchased from Sea Change.
