Keel Appeal was a crew on the Midnight Ocean and member of the flag Blighted. It was founded in May 2006 and disbanded in June 2007.
History
Keel Appeal was founded by Pennsuedo, as was its flag Broadside Thrillride. Pennsuedo retired from the game for a long while, but in May 2006 decided to make another go of it and perhaps rule the seas with the notoriety he had once before. Pennsuedo, however, dedicated most of his time to playing poker and gave up command of the crew to Kritastrophe soon after.
Keel Appeal fell apart when Kritastrophe joined the crew Unknown Pleasures, when they broke away from the flag Blighted. Most of the still active members can be found in the crew Look to Windward.
Since its creation, Keel Appeal has slowly filled with mates from abandoned crews such as Rudder Lubbers, Rum 'n Blood D'Oh, Flying Hellfish, and other such mates of early Midnight lore.
Public Statement
Arrrr! Ye've come across the fastest growin' danger on thar seas! We be as a force o' nature, our ships cappin' the waves. We gots multiple ships out each day. Thar simply ain't a more active crew on this old ocean. Hop aboard, mateys. We shall dent Midnight. If ye wants ter make yer name, this be the only place ter be. Keel! Keel 'em all!!!
...oi Ask fer permission ter board. Don't give out orders unless ye rank on the ship. Do keep yerself busy at a station unless ye wants ter swim. Do fight as teams o' 2 n 3 in the sea battles. Don't be an arse unless ye do it wi' charm.
