Public Statement
Fuurinkazan, literally "Wind, Forest, Fire and Mountain", was on war banners used by a Sengoku period daimyo named Takeda Shingen, quoting The Art of War: "Swift as Wind, Silent as Forest, Fierce as Fire and Immovable as Mountain". Takeda Shingen is said to have become invincible in all battles without relying on guns, because he studied The Art of War, which gave him the inspiration for his famous phrase "Fuurinkazan".
