Carpe Noctem is an elite flag formed on September 7, 2004 from the remnants of Nyx's Scions. Basher, the monarch, and the royalty and titled officers run the flag.
Made of an assortment of crews, some pillagers, some merchants, some 'docktarts' and parlor gamers, Carpe Noctem is a fun-loving flag, and a considerable force to be reckoned with.
History
Carpe Noctem was initially formed from splinters of Nyx's Scions and Rudder Revolution, but two of the three former-Rudder crews (Falcon's Fury and Silver Dragon Trading Co) have since left the flag. During the early stages, the flag used the name Forgotten Realms while they decided what name to use. A forum poll chose Carpe Noctem, and most of the crews in Forgotten Realms transferred to Carpe Noctem (with Llyr's Pact splintering off of Black Death due to BD not transferring).
Island Conquests
The first major goal of the flag was to take Islay of Luthien. The flag accomplished this goal in a hotly contested blockade on October 2, 2004.
On March 13, 2005, the flag attacked and succesfully won Zeta Island while at the same time defending Islay of Luthien from a counter attack.
