ACTION PATROL was originally founded on July 18, 2005. At its height, the crew comprised approximately 200 members, and maintained the number one spot in crew fame on the Midnight Ocean for approximately 2 months. The original ACTION PATROL was disbanded on January 7, 2006, and a small number of senior officers were retained to form a small crew in Don't Panic called Chrome. Chrome was later shanghai'd on May 21, 2006 to form the second incarnation of ACTION PATROL. The crew maintained a modest level of activity for a number of months, mostly shipping and stall/shoppekeeping. On September 15th, 2006 the name was changed once more, to "Darkest Before Dawn."
