This template will automatically add superscript, as well as using the formatting that creates the correctly numbered link. Please note that the 1 has nothing to do with what number the link gets, that is determined by how many footnotes are on the page.
URL with no = in it: Usage: {{fn|http://www.blah.blah}}

If your URL has = in it add 1= before the URL: Usage: {{fn|1=http://www.blah.blah}}
