Retagging Cleanup
I'm going to be a little nitpicky because I've seen this a lot, recently. If an article is tagged {{Cleanup}} (Usage), and an editor takes a stab at cleaning, but it isn't enough, it'd be really nice to replace the tag with a {{Cleanupfor}} (Usage) the second time. IMO, it's more likely to produce useful edits than retagging with the same template. --AtteSmythe 11:12, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
- To be fair, I did originally use cleanupfor; the page creator removed it, and Lizzie re-tagged it with regular cleanup (either she didn't check the history, or she didn't know about that tag: I'm sure she'll read this, and then she will :)). Cleanupfor can be helpful, but it's not that critical: It's usually pretty obvious why an article needs cleanup, although if the problems are subtle, cleanupfor can certainly make things clearer. --Emufarmers 22:48, 19 July 2006 (PDT)
