Public Statement

Sails of Darkness is a crew that believes that the best crew isn`t the one with the most ships or members. It`s the one that help each other and go on pillages with each other and have nice members that are the best crews.

We are currently hiring people for all posts, you may start as a cabin person and work yer way up to oficer, fast or slow depends on yer work and attitude.

On pillages, our officers may seem angry and may shout a lot and plank all the time. But they are really nice people, they just have to shout to get people's attention if they are not listening or aren`t looking. They plank because people don`t follow instructions and laze about, so understand that and the more you listen the less they will shout.

Rules

1.If you are an officer, always check the bulletin board of a ship to see if you need to ask permission first, before pillaging, how much to stock, etc.

2. If you start a pillage, then you are in charge - no one else - even the captain of the crew (unless conflicting with the first rule).

3. Don't send tells, trade invites or challenges to anyone aboard a ship, especially the battle navigator. If you do so you may planked.

4. Please, try to keep talking in battle to the minimum. It can be very hard to do a puzzle or battle nav when everyone is talking.

5. Never leave a ship on a uninhabited island without the permmision of the owner, and always stock a ship after a pillage. Failure to do either will result in having to pay for the whisking potion and restocking cost, 1000 PoE to owner, and demotion.

6.Please ask permission before boarding a cutter or sloop by saying PTB <ship name> through crew chat. Failing to do this will result in plank.

7. If you are pillaging on a sloop and you get KB, you either sell it from the booty and then divide or divide and then split the KB with who ever is still aboard. If you get it on a brig, divide the booty and split the KB between the officers incharge.

8. PvPing is not permitted unless you have permission from the captain. Reason for this is people PvPing and taking the crew stats down. If ye do it will result in a demotion period of 3 days.
