YPPedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism

This page is intended to get administrator attention quickly when dealing with persistent vandals. For article content and user disputes, please see Wikipedia's resolving disputes article instead. For editors who want to get an administrator to have a look at a vandal situation and consider blocking: Make sure the user is currently committing vandalism and it's not a content dispute. Make sure you've warned the vandal with the {{test}}, {{test2}}/{{test2a}}/{{test3}}, and {{test4}} templates. If you can't justify leaving these messages on a user's talk page, it likely isn't vandalism. If the vandal hasn't stopped, add the user to the bottom of this page in the following format: *username or ip - Brief reason for listing (keep it short) ~~~~ Don't forget signing. If an administrator removes the user and doesn't handle the matter to your satisfaction, take it to the administrator's talk page or Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress, but do not re-list the user here. Please do not list a user here if: They have not vandalized multiple times very recently. They have not been warned recently not to vandalize. They have not vandalized since the last warning. For administrators handling assistance requests: For each of the users linked here, open their contributions and check for vandalism. Also check if the users have been sufficiently warned for the current vandalism and whether they've continued to vandalise after being warned. Block the user in question, warn them again, or do nothing if you don't think administrator intervention is required. Explain things to the user who listed the suspected vandal if you feel there's been a misunderstanding. Remove the user from this page. Repeat until the page is empty save for this header (when you empty the page please include "list empty" or equivalent words in your edit summary).
