This article needs to be cleaned up to conform to a higher standard of quality by making it clear that the Officer guidelines at the bottom are specific to this crew and they are not a generally accepted standard. |

[hide]History
Rogues of Sage was started by the Irish Rogues on January 21, 2006.
The flag, along with many allies, contended at Admiral I against Go with the Flow.
After the defeat at admiral, Rogues of Sage joined into a formal alliance with El Mercado Libre and Allied Saruyama Forces to strengthen their position in the ocean and to accomplish certain shared goals with each of their allies. Later, Notorious and Outcasts joined the alliance ring giving the flags a strong presense on Sage.
On April 1st, 2006 Rogues of Sage joined forces with the alliance ring and blockaded Ventress Island uncontested.
Public Statement
Ahoy! We are the Rogues of Sage. We are a fun loving flag who works hard to be the best we can. Is your crew full of pirates who love to pillage, have fun, and work hard? Then perhaps consider Rogues to become your home. All we ask is that you are respectful, work hard and well, and be the very best you can be.
This Flag uses Flag Chat a lot. we like to say ahoy to each other and talk about almost everything. For our Flag, a sense of humor is a must. We expel Crews that are too serious. We also Expel when a crew's fame becomes lower than Rumored.
A Crew is allowed 1 Royal and 2 titled Members. Royals must get online at least once a day and be able to vote. a crew may earn an additional royal and extra titled members, but only if they have been in the flag for a long time.
and Finally, to Other Flags: Sorry, but we are not accepting anymore Alliances; please dont send us any invites at this time. thank ye.
- Signed - Queen Lezzy

Officer Training Program
Officer Basics
Officer Etiquette
All ship owners should post their name, stock requirements, and porting requirements in the officer bulletin board. This should be respected when borrowing someone's ship.
If you borrow a ship, return it to where you got it, or at the island indicated in the the officer bulletin board. Also, restock according to the officer bulletin. Failure to do so could result in a demotion of it is not corrected. If you borrow a ship that does not have the propoer restock requirements, then you are still expect to meet those stock requirements when you port. Afterwards, you can chase down the cuplrit and get your poe.
If you are commanding a pillage, do not leave unless the ship is ported. If you do not have time to complete a pillage, do not do one, or get another officer to take over (remember to give him restock money).
If you command a pillage, and you have a bad pillage, you are expected to restock. So, if you cannot afford 15k to restock a War Frig, then to not take one out.
Be courteous. Being in charge of a pillage also puts you in charge of the people on the ship. If someone is rude or swearing, warn them or plank them. You will not get get in trouble for planking someone so matter what the pirate may tell you. Running a pillage requires that you get everyone to work. A well run ship has everyone doing their part. This is especially important on large ships like war frigates. Be courteous, before being stern to people when asking them to get their stations. Do not berate them or call them names. Remember, this is a game and everyone is here to have fun. You should expect vessel chat and crew chat to occur while people do the puzzles.
Ship owners run the pillage, no matter who boards the ship. If an officer is running a pillage and an SO or captain boards, the ship owner still has command unless he/she chooses to give command away.
Meet with a training officer to get our secrets... we do not want to post them here!
Testing
Final stage of training is to be tested by a SO or the captain. Here the SO will observe you run a pillage and give you a pass/fail along with some tips. Failure does not mean you lose rank, just mean you need more training.
