Bronze Triketos

It is awarded for being on a ship that sinks 5 Triketoses. As far as I know, it can be on many different forays into Atlantis. Expect a Silver (10-15) and a Gold (20-25) Triketos trophy too. Protected Page

I've protected the page from edits due to the repeated addition/removal of information regarding the Bellator's Bane trophy. I'm hopeful that consensus for this trophy can be achieved soon, but the cycle of edits and reversions is not the right way to do this. I still see lots of "stupid" edits (always the same) and then reverted by other peoples, this page is no more lock? if it isn't , it should be again. Bellator's Bane

Just a sugeestion, Tessebess on the Viridian has this trophy.. you may want to consider asking her how she got it.

Alright, i got this trophy on hunter and i got it after succesfully defeating a dragoon in a 1-on-1 challege three times.

New trophy no idea how she got it

I got it when I logged on today. It happened after two of my rags crumbled, although I think it has something to do with floating, as I have done 500+ leagues of floating recently, and I know someone who has it on their floating alt. I doubt it has anything to do with drinking, as I haven't done the puzzle for months.

In my searches for background information I found that at the page(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_of_the_dog) right at the bottom in "In popular culture" it says: "In Yohoho Puzzle Pirates, players are awarded a trophy called Hair of the Dog for sailing for a specific amount of time while under the effects of rum sickness." Seems right, and I'm sure someone knows that, but hasn't posted it here, so therefore I am :)You could test the exact time to find it simply by making an alt and hanging around, but the amount of time it took me (10-20 hours or so) I simply don't have the patience. If someone does try this, I would recommend documenting League Points as well as the time, as you float.

~ I was also awarded this trophy when I logged on. The pirate is only used for floating ships, so I am very sure the trophy has something to do with the amount of time one spends on a ship with no rum.

I've just obtained the Fencer, Scrapper and Barfly trophies. All were awarded after beating the level 10 bot in the palace from their respective missions, 5 times each. The wins did not have to be consecutive, nor did I have to win 5 times in a row. (that rumble one was a tart) The trophies were given out after the bot had left the room after the fifth winning fight for all three.

The fencer trophy is definitelly obtained after SIX wins against the level 10 bot. I tested twice with two fresh alts. The first win (the one when you advance from 9 swords master to 10 swords) doesn't count. Guys who got it after 5 wins have previously defeated the level 10 bot.

Roof, that sounds possible for the swords one. I'd already completed the level 10 one for sword (though don't know how many times) and got it in 4 wins yesterday. The rumble (started at #4 challenge) and drining (started at #3) were definitely awarded after the 5th fight at level 10 for each.

• edit* No, I just tried the fencer with an alt who had not played any matches. She got it after her 5th level 10 win. That included the "first" win when completeing the set.

I definatly know how to obtain these with no question asked 100% guarunteed... the method to get this is you have to acheve level 10 in anyone of the drinking, swordfighting or rumble mission then you must have beeten level 10 5 times to acheve this.

I've beaten the level 10 rumble teacher far more than 6 times but have yet to receive the scrapper. Though, admitedly, I am no good at rumble and there were more losses than I cared about counting between those wins, so maybe it has to do with win percentage or consecutive wins against the lvl 10 teacher

Regarding the fencer. Definitelly the "play with swords" mission counts towards those 15 wins. But only once. I got it after 9 wins against level 1-9 teachers, "played with swords" twice then 5 more wins against level 10 bot.

Either the trophy counts wins prior to its release, or it is not for "winning 15 X challenge missions". I got it using the "swordfighting challenge:X" missions. I fought nine different bots, had a total of 18 matches (lost against one eight times, lost to another once), before being awarded the fencer trophy. Of course it counts. If for example you're at "defeat level 7 swordfight" mission it automatically means that you've already defeated level 1-6 bots, thus you have 6 wins.--Roofiyohoho 00:43, 23 September 2007 (PDT)

I have a new theory on theese trophies. Instead of that u have to win 15 mission challenges, I think it is winning 5 mission challenges on level 10. Silver Triketos

may we change the description of this award to something like "Awarded for being on a ship that sinks a currently unknown amount of Triketos." (this sugestion stands for any other awards that will meet a simular description) thank you

I received the Bronze Triketos trophy without sinking, Its probably the same with Silver Triketos trophy that you can get it without sinking. You're probably thinking that its different because of the 'high' requirements for silver

Section breaks

Adressing two issues here... (1) This layout version looks great. I really like it, it's less ambigious, and gives more at just the first glance at it. (2) One problem is that the first row on each of the grid-layout sections (Misc and Atlantis) seems to lose the text-align:center and stick to the left (obviously this disappears when we resize the browser window to smaller). I was thinking to fix it but i'm not that good at this stuff.. Maybe the trophy display template is unaligned or wrongly aligned?... Furiss 06:59, 24 September 2007 (PDT)

Miscellaneous Trophies table adjustment

I just want to say that the active Miscellaneous trophies (Unchiseled Potential) and and Miscellaneous trophies that are no longer available (Like the pink heart and ship in a bottle) should be separated in two different tables. The no longer available trophies should be at the bottom of the page, because they are not that interesting.

#1 Carouser?

I've reverted the edit that claimed that there was no #1 Carouser trophy. We need to see a pirate with all the #1 trophies for each carousing puzzle before we can rule this one out. --Barrister 20:44, 2 December 2007 (PST)

Check Xelliana on Cobalt. She's got all #1 trophies for the carousing puzzles and there is no #1 Carouser trophy.

Reindeer Games Trophies

I uploaded some of the Reindeer Games Trophy Images.

When Sleigh Captain, , Booty-filled Stocking, , Sack of Flight Powder, , Ornamental Cabin Elf, , Reindeer Feed, , Nose-glow Wax, ,Proto-diamond,, and Bushel of Reindeer Apples, get uploaded, someone can put together a properly formatted row in the Competition section.

These trophies are spoilers. If you read the warning atop the trophy page you will see it reads: "Only trophies which have been seen on pirate pages may be added here in accordance with the forum's spoiler policy.". Why exactly are the pictures and names of these trophies on the YPPedia already? Aren't they themselves spoilers? Only those with ice membership should be aware of it, afterall.

Trophies in Ice Ocean pirate pages are enough that they don't count as spoilers - it's possible to see the pirate pages without logging onto the Ice Ocean, after all. Trophy images pulled from the game files, however, are spoilers. --Belthazar451 19:41, 10 June 2008 (PDT)

Exactly - if someone on any ocean has it, even if it's an OM account on the Ice Ocean - then it counts as being seen in-game. You can see the wiki's spoiler policy on the YPPedia policies page - it's the same as the forum's policy. So far as I know, the Boots of Bilging (and now the Jinxed Idol) is the sole trophy that is awarded only at login time. Some of the others may be awarded at login time (such as if your standing becomes Ultimate while you're logged off) but it's possible for all of them to be awarded while online - in fact, most of them require you to be online and doing something at the time. Thus the reason for mentioning that it's awarded at login is that it's only awarded at login, never any other time. --Belthazar451 18:54, 18 May 2008 (PDT)

I was uncertain whether to revert the edit that added that information to the Jinxed Idol, or change the sucky wording (all trophies are awarded "after login" and before logout). I figured if I reverted it someone would probably add it again so I thought fixing up the wording was a better solution. Atlantis table format

Okay, it appears that the bronze/silver/gold trophies are in alphabetical order. However with the addition of the Citadel series, this breaks up the monster series. Wouldn't it make more sense to group the monsters together, apart from the citadel? --Chupchup 07:25, 25 April 2008 (PDT)

Art Trophies

I assume the new trophies unrelated to Adventurin' are the newly mentioned art trophies? 'Dread Masterpiece' Seems picture/painting/drawing related, so the 'Gilded Egg' could be building/sculpture/project related. Has anyone seen a writing style trophy? Those are pretty fair assumptions (though the Gilded Egg is most likely egg-related), but we like to reach a consensus for trophy criteria before adding them to the page (with minor exceptions like the experience-related trophies, which are pretty self-evident). If we assume things and get it wrong, it causes all sorts of confusion. The place for talking about trophy criteria is the forum thread listed at the top of the main trophy page. As for a writing-related trophy, I've been keeping my eyes out for any new ones on the Ice Ocean, but haven't seen one that might fit. Yet. --Belthazar451 15:13, 12 June 2008 (PDT)

Furthermore, you also get the lower-level trophies, if you qualify for a higher one. For example, if you are Sublime in something, you also get the Expert and Broad trophies. --Belthazar451 07:37, 18 June 2008 (PDT)

Keep an eye on Nightwishtwo's trophy page for the Sublime Treasure Drop trophy. She's the only pirate across all the oceans to have an active Sublime rating for TD. -Barrister 16:50, 18 June 2008 (PDT)

Colouring cells

Some of the new trophies include a bit of the background colour on them around shiny parts. I propose colouring those trophy cells in, possibly extending this to all trophies, not just ones that are not fully transparent.

Aye, I noticed that. The patches of background colour are because the shiny parts actually make the background slightly lighter. I think if you're going to colour some of the cells, you should colour all of them - possibly this calls for some sort of sandbox mock-up so we can see how it looks. First mock. The borders have been thinned and coloured as they are on trophy pages. I was thinking of making the labels blue like trophy titles but this may look strange against wikilinks and it also doesn't apply to that many titles. Looks pretty good. Brings them out somewhat, too. =) On a vaguely-related note, since we're already mucking about with formatting, why are the sections on the trophies page in that particular order? Finally had a chance to give the pages a good comparison. I really wasn't sure I liked the background on the trophies at first but it is starting to grow on me, I think.

Some specifics. I prefer the original layout of the Blockade trophies (Battered Hat and Weathered Helm) on the trophy page. I also prefer the width of the Duty Puzzle Maneuvers on the trophy page; the mock up seems too compressed there. I'm undecided about the Ultimate trophies but leaning more towards the current version rather then the mock up. Whether we go with these backgrounds or not, using the template for the table certainly cleans up the coding on the page, and I always like that. That being said, I think a more appropriate name for the entries would be {{Trophy entry|name=Battered Hat}}. -- Cedarwings ^(talk) 13:17, 25 June 2008 (PDT)

Would trophies on pirate page be okay if they are in the thing that hides then unless u clock show?

I believe the consensus is still that the {{infobox pirate}} ^(Usage) yoweb link is the preferred and sufficient route to view a pirates trophies. Since we have an historical trophy section... shouldn't the Fall 'n Crossbones go over there? Maybe move it there once the promotion is over? The conch is a bit more tricky... since you had to crack the original trinket to get the trophy. I'm not sure if at some point they all cracked. If they didn't the trophy might still be obtainable if there is a conch trinket still around somewhere.--Cecidrake 03:03, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
