Widows and Orphans is a dormant flag on the Cerulean Ocean originally of the Midnight Ocean.
History
Later joined by Cupcake Inquisition (previously Crociata Imperio), Widows and Orphans are enjoying a new life. They presently eschew politics, preferring to shopkeep, pillage, and provide a stable place for formerly-lonely crews.
In June of 2006, they took control of Cnossos Island as the host flag for Quiglin, who was elected Governor in a contest held after the Cnossos Restoration Project. ARR left the flag shortly after to experience blockading and wars which the rest of the flag was not interested in.
Public statement
Formed from the ashes of two once-great flags, The Pillage People (one of whose major crews was The Black Widows) and Nyx's Scions (crews orphaned by the dissolution of the flag), Widows and Orphans is a tribute to our history. Now joined by Cupcake Inqusition (the once unpronounceable Crociata Imperio), Widows & Orphans find themselves enjoying a new life. No longer are we slaves to the politickal engine - we lazily shopkeep, enjoy regimented sea-theft and provide a stable place for formerly-lonely crews, with heaping dividends of fun and profit! (and more things in parenthesis!)
