== Chart decay rates ==

I'm pretty sure that storing charts on a ship makes them decay like a labour badge, while holding them on your pirate lets them decay like a rank badge. Also, I'm sure interarch charts last longer than standard ones, and storing on a ship makes them last longer than being logged in every day. :So was I, until Wlada told me about his test (he bought two new maps&mdash;left one on his person and one on a ship; they both decayed after exactly one month).  The issue I still need to test is whether not using a ship for a month affects the decay rate, but after a month I'll have to check the ship every day (so that could be tough to accurately test).  Maybe chart decay used to be different, or maybe it was all a conspiracy theory to get new players to share their maps. =) {{User:Yaten/sig}} 04:41, 30 August 2005 (PDT)
