Talk:Appearance altering potion

Cure-all

Does the Cure-all elixir as used in the Halloween event to opt-out of being a zombie count as an appearance altering potion? It would be nice to have a note about it here. --Nickster (t/c) 01:26, 4 November 2005 (PST)

I don't know if it's available any more. From what Nemo said on the forums, I think it was only for opting out of zombification.--Gloraelin 13:34, November 4, 2005 (PST)
Peghead gave one away as a tourney prize on Ice. This was right after the fast-tourney release. (Ice still had zombies.) --Barrister 13:51, 4 November 2005 (PST)

Same recipe

Is there any reasoning behind the Hand and Leg potions having exactly the same recipe, or is this a ringer oversight? --Rroberts 15:06, 15 November 2005 (PST)

Beard control wax

According to Prometheus, beard control wax can now be used to remove a female pirate's dastardly moustache. It is currently tagged in this article as (male only). I am awaiting confirmation that females can use it and we can remove the restriction note. Chupchup 16:58, 25 June 2012 (PDT)

It's possible (probable?) that the Beard Control potion can be used by female pirates *ONLY* for removing the moustache, not for actually modifying what type of moustache it is. In which case, when we re-word the potion, we should make this distinction. (Just planning ahead. And good catch, finding the dastardly moustache wax, in the first place!) -- Franklincain (t/c) 17:10, 25 June 2012 (PDT)
