'''Scuppering Seven Seas''' was created in February 21, 2005 by [[Scupperer]] at the start of the [[Viridian Ocean]]. Scupperer had moved from the [[Midnight Ocean]] to Viridian with the stated intention to take over {{viridian|Terra Island}}, so that he could be crowned 'Scupperer, Ruler of Earth!'{{fn|1=http://www.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?p=336572#336572}}.

== Historical Note ==

In November 2005, Scuppering Seven Seas changed their name to The Borg, representing their goal to assimilate other crews and flags in the ocean. After the Monarch switched, the name was changed back to Scuppering Seven Seas.

== Blockade History ==
In April 2005, Scuppering Seven Seas fought their first [[blockade]]; {{blockade|ocean=Viridian|island=Prolix|number=I}}, against [[Infierno De los Diablos]], winning 3-0.

June 2005 brought another blockade. At {{blockade|ocean=Viridian|island=Olive|number=III}}, Scuppering Seven Seas made an unsuccessful attempt to defeat [[Moros de Mindanao (defunct)|Moros de Mindanao]].

July 2005 was a busy month, in which Scuppering Seven Seas contested two blockades. They won the large island {{viridian|Kirin Island}}. They also fought in {{blockade|ocean=Viridian|island=Viridis|number=I}} against [[Euphoria]], but lost 3-0.

August 2005 brought problems for Scuppering Seven Seas, when they had to attempt to defend Kirin, defend Prolix, and take Terra concurrently. This was largely unsuccessful, as they lost Kirin to Infierno De los Diablos 3-0, in a [[sinking]] blockade and lost 3-1 at Terra to [[Euphoria]].  The flag managed to keep Prolix in the sinking blockade 3-0-1 against Infierno De los Diablos and Purgatory. They tried again to take Terra at {{blockade|ocean=Viridian|island=Terra|number=II}}, but lost 3-0 to the defending Euphoria. The month finished with an amazing four simultaneous blockades, although Scuppering Seven Seas only fought in {{blockade|ocean=Viridian|island=Terra|number=III}}, winning 3-1. 

In September 2005, Scuppering Seven Seas sucessfully defended Terra Island from Euphoria 3-2, in a sinking blockade ({{blockade|ocean=Viridian|island=Terra|number=IV}}).
