The '''Global Purse''' allows a pirate to carry all of their [[PoE]] with them. It also keeps their on-hands PoE safe when they're on a vessel.

== Historical Notes ==

*Before the [[Release 2005-04-06|release of the Global Purse]], pirates had to put PoE into [[bank]]s or bury it whenever they [[whisk]]ed off an [[island]] or transport their PoE via [[ship]]. Furthermore, pirates had to check where their PoE was by looking at their [[money report]], and their on-hands PoE was in danger when travelling by sea.
*The Global Purse was actually in the game for most of the Alpha testing period. Money whisking was removed near the end of Alpha, in {{release-alpha|2003-06-30}}.
