The /crew command will share your message with everyone in the crew, including jobbing pirates. It only works if you are a member of a crew. You can also crew chat without typing /cr by selecting the "Crew" bubble to the left of your typing line.
When using the /crew command, your text appears only in the chat portion of the window, not in a word bubble. If you set the mode using the channel selector, it is possible still to chat in a circle by prefacing your line with /speak (or /say).
/Crew combines with /shout, /think, and /emote to send those types of messages to the entire crew channel.
