Atchafalaya Island is a medium island in the Canis Archipelago. There are two known routes from the island: Armstrong Island and an inter-archipelago route to Morgana Island in the Pleiades Archipelago.

History
A rock on the northern west side of the island reads, "This island were fashioned by Skye."
This island is named for the Atchafalaya river and swamp, which is a part of the Mississippi river delta.
