Extended Public statement
Oceanmasters: "You have a debt to pay. You've been captain of the Skeletons for thirteen months. That was our agreement." Ben: "Technically, I was only captain for eight months, then I was away vacationing." Oceanmasters: "Then you were a lazing captain, but a captain nonetheless! Have you not introduced yourself all these years as 'Captain Ben'!?"
Pomotion Requirements
You MUST have Broad / Distinguished in all required duty puzzles to be promoted. It will not count if your standing in the puzzle is Able
- Cabin Person: Just ask an officer.
- Pirate: Have Broad experience in Sailing, Carpentry, Bilging and some experience/skill in Gunnery (Subject to promoting officers opinion).
- Officer: Have Broad Gunning, Broad Navigating, and Narrow Battle Navigation. Also be in the crew for over a week so we can get to know you.
- Promotions are typically done before or after a pillage. Please do not spam officers with requests for promotions.
- Never ask to be a Fleet Officer or a Senior Officer. It will not happen. We are very careful about who we promote. If we decide you are ready for such a promotion, it will happen. We watch our officers closely.
Crew Rules
1. Always request PTB on crew chat before boarding any ship smaller than a Warbrig. To request PTB, type /Crew PTB <ship name> Example:
/Crew PTB Complicated Barbel
Then WAIT! If the answer is No or denied or there is no answer back, do not board. Do not ask why! Do not be upset or insulted. Just because you are a member of the crew that does not give you the right to hop on any ship you see. Some pirates prefer or need to solo their ships. If you board the ship they are soloing, one of the bots they have helping will leave the ship. This can make their solo voyage a big hassle. Especially if you just leave and they didn't even notice you were there. If you do board a ship without PTB by accident or otherwise, be sure to send a /tell to the officer running the ship letting them know that you did it. That way they can do what needs to be done to right the situation. The truth is, if you are new to the game and don't have much experience, sloops and small ships are not the place for you. You should get your beginning experience on Warbrigs and larger or in the Navy. For a sloop pillage to be successful, all the people on the ship really need to have higher skill levels because there are fewer of them.
2. Never board a ship being swabbied "Swabbies Transporting" unless you know you have permission or you are the one who sent it.
3. Officers are restricted to using Sloops or Cutters for pillaging unless they own the ship or have special permission to use a Warbrig and the help of an FO or higher. FO's are restricted to Warbrigs or smaller unless they have permission from a senior officer (typically because they have GM or better BNav and are trusted to restock).
4. If you go on a crew pillage, make sure the officer in charge (OIC) restocks the ship. If he/she doesn't restock or refuses to do so, tell an SO or the captain.

Crew History
It was First named "The Crazy Pirates" but on October, 2007 they changed the name to "Skeletons" for Halloween. After October has passed they tried to change the name back to "The Crazy Pirates" but weren't able to because someone had stolen the name while they were "Skeletons". They stayed with the name "Skeletons" and soon began to like it better. The Crazy Pirates (Skeletons) was founded by Wesco and then given to Ben. In June, 2008 Ben decided to announce his retirement from Puzzle Pirates to begin College and left the crew under Isaiasnaruto's hands.
Flag Affiliation History
Skeletons first flag was in Razorblade Romance but then there was some issues with having no royalty and the flag fleet being stuck in an account that was banned. They left the flag afterwards.
Skeletons second flag was Castigo X where they stayed for many months. They were satisfied with how the flag was run, taking and controlling five islands (the most that any flag had ever controlled at one time on Hunter Ocean). Skeletons were promised and received two royalty spots. One of these two royals went dormant and when Skeletons asked to have the spot changed to another crew member, the request was denied which was the beginning of the end for Skeletons in Castigo X. One thing lead to another and skeletons left the flag.
Skeletons third flag was Slayers Rebellion. Skeletons weren't able to stay in that flag for long since Castigo X kept declaring war on any flag they joined. Swashbearder, the Monarch of the Flag didn't want any trouble so Skeletons left the flag.
Skeletons Fourth flag was Corripe Cervisiam where they stayed for a couple of months. They were very happy with the flag and successfully took Pukru Island. Dannyt, the Monarch of Corripe Cervisiam, decided to leave hunter and to make Ben the new Monarch of the flag which would have been great but he also took with him a recent flag donation of 1 million PoE. This did not go over well with the crews under Corripe Cervisiam and they started leaving the flag. Eventually, when there were no other crews left, Skeletons decided to join another one.
