Rising Storm is a crew on the Sage Ocean. It was founded on October 4, 2005 by Walker and Ariannaleigh after having left the crew East Australian Current. The Crews name was changed on 4th September 2006 from The Drop Off.

Public Statement
Ahoy mates.
We are Rising Storm formally known as The Drop Off. We are an older crew but with a fresh start.
If you would like to join the crew please just ask, but don’t not ask to be promoted right off. To be a pirate doesn’t take much but to be an officer does. To become an officer takes time and most of all my trust.
Pillaging-
While jobbing with us please be on a station unless otherwise told. Please do not beg to gun. Please to not beg to navigate and please do not leave in battle.
Trade Runs-
While we make most of our poe pillaging we also do trade runs. If you are on a trade run with us please stay on station. If you are not you will be planked. Pay is 500 poe per island one way. I now trade runs are boring but you can’t beat the pay and how fast you make it.
Madman’s Run-
If you are with us on a Madman’s Run please treat it like any other pillage. Do not ask us to port, we only port to restock if we run low. Madman’s Runs last from 12 to 24 hours with breaks every 4 to 5 hours. Only before a break will we port.
Crew Colors and motto-
Our crews colors are Navy and Grey. The crew motto is a simple one, Ridin Dirty. Yeah it doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the statement but you have to remember we are hear for fun. And it is just plain fun to say you are Ridin Dirty when pillaging.

Madman's Run
The Madman’s Run, when ever I bring it up I always get asked what it is. The Madman’s run last anywhere from 12 to 24 hours. It is where I have to stay on a crew ship pillaging in some way during that whole time. Most of the time I am the one Naving but in the past there have been guest navers.
The way the Madman’s Run came about is boring and stupid. So……I won’t go in to that. The main reason behind the runs are for raising crew/flag fame, for fundraising for both the crew and the flag as well as to recruit. They don’t happen often because it is a real pain and is stressful but every couple of months I do one.
Crew Changes
As of September 4th 2006 The Drop Off has been renamed Rising Storm.
