Pirates of the Damned is a crew that sails the Cobalt Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of None of the Above.

History
Pirates of the Damned was founded by Shanoyu on 19 February, 2005.
It was under the leadership of Shanoyu, that the crew was able to make its start. With members of the crew from Midnight trying out the idea of starting anew, they built a foundation for a good crew. With many friends and allies, the crew was off to a great start to being a force on the ocean.
Yet the original plans and concepts for the crew and flag changed over time; which caused conflicts between members of the crew and flag. The tension was felt from the feuding members, causing morale to fall. Eventually, more members of the crew became inactive. The few that were remaining, enjoyed being a lone-wolves, and neglected to recruit new members. The crew was stagnant. Even Shanoyu's presence on the ocean diminished.
This wasn't the end for these pirates. The captain's hat was passed on to Montblanc, one of the last senior officers in the crew on Cobalt. He himself had his recent beginnings with the PotD on Midnight. Trying to keep with the guidelines of his training, he set off to build up the crew. Today the crew is established, and now more active than it ever was. Not knowing what the future holds for them, they are determined to continue on.
By June of 2007 the previous captain, Montblanc had left the crew and Zanarkand had assumed the captaincy of the crew.
Public Statement
I would like to think of our crew as a family of friends. We are here to be pirates and have fun doing so. So don't be shy, introduce your self. Talk or ask questions, we are here to have fun. Well, smooth sailing to ye. - Zanarkand - Please ask "Permission to Board," before hopping on a ship. Failure to do so and ye might be planked.
To TEAM in battle
For a Sword Fight:
Click on an opponent's indicator screen (White Border & Colored Dot).
- One attacker - move to a pair, it's bad to fight alone
- Two attackers - doing fine, ye have some one to guard yer back
- Three attackers - AWESOME !! Slay the opposition! >=o D
- Four or more - move to a pair, ye need elbow room
For Rumble:
- Teams of 4 or 5: that way we will slay the opposition.
Promotion Requirements
- Cabin Person: Ask to Join. =o p
- Pirate: Subscription. Sorry, the game requires that.
- Officer: Owning yer own vessel with good stats. Plus Officer training.
- Fleet Officer: Trust of the crew, and knows how to BNav
- Senior Officer: Trust of the Captain, strong stats, and familiar with the crew.
