Phoenix Rising is a flag on the Sage Ocean that was founded in the year 2006 on December 17th. The former members of Devil's Desire (Butsuri, Blinn, and Seylah) created this flag with the help and support of their crews. Butsuri went dormant and a new leader, Tonigirl took over his position as Monarch in September 2007. Tonigirl stepped down as monarch on May 27th 2008.

On Sunday May 6th, 2007, Gauntlet V - Phoenix Rising blockaded Gauntlet Island and won it from Superbus Haliaetos in a three round sinking blockade.

On Saturday September 8, 2007, Gauntlet VI - Phoenix Rising successfully defended Gauntlet from Insurrectionists in a five round non-sinking blockade

On Sunday September 30, 2007, Gauntlet VII - Phoenix Rising successfully defended Gauntlet from the Brigand King Fleet of his Imperial Scaled Highness in a 3 round blockade

On Sunday October 21st, 2007, Gauntlet VIII - Phoenix Rising successfully defended Gauntlet from the Brigand Queen Black Veil in a 4 round blockade

On Sunday November 11th, 2007, Gauntlet IX - Phoenix Rising lost Gauntlet Island to Ghostly Intentions in a five round non-sinking blockade.

On Sunday April 27th, 2008, Kashgar VIII - Phoenix Rising attacked Kashgar and lost to Spontaneous Combustion in a 5 round non-sinking blockade.

On Saturday May 10th, 2008, Kashgar IX - Phoenix Rising attacked Kashgar and won it from Spontaneous Combustion in a 3 way 5 round sinking blockade with League of Light.
