Duat Island is a outpost island located in the Komodo Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Buyan's Vortice, Midgard Island, and an inter-archipelago route to Cenote Island in the Lacerta Archipelago.

History
An inscription on a row boat, on the eastern coast by the landing, reads, "This island were fashioned by Polly."
In Egyptian mythology, Duat is the name for the underworld. If you look closely at Duat island, you will see the head of Anubis, the jackal-headed Egyptian god associated with mummification and the afterlife.
